Legacy Senior Living Expands its Family of Senior Living Communities to Serve Athens, Georgia with New Acquisition
ATHENS, Georgia (February 1, 2024) – Legacy Senior Living, based in Cleveland, TN, assumed management of St. Gabriel Senior Living of Athens, Georgia, on January 1, 2024. Legacy Senior Living owns and operates a growing family of senior living and memory care communities across the Eastern United States.
The newly named Legacy Village of Athens will begin a refresh remodel, including a complete redesign and renovation of the memory care neighborhood, The Harbor, Legacy's hallmark brand for memory care services. The renovations are planned to begin in 2024 and will enhance the services provided in The Harbor, Legacy Village's state-of-the-art memory care wing. This enhancement will include 1950's decor, art and colors reflecting an era reminiscent of happier days for those residents suffering from memory-related disorders.
A wonderful Family Night was held on January 16 with Legacy’s ownership and leadership team sharing the history, vision, and mission of the company to a full house of family members, residents, and friends.
